Ray Clegg-Managing Director
Ray joined the business in 2011 and subsequently became part of the board in 2013 before becoming Managing Director in 2018. Ray has extensive experience in transport and oversees all aspects of the day to day running of the business including operational and commercial matters. Ray also has responsibility for procurement and HR compliance.
Paul Conlon-Head of Sales
A specialist in the field of international freight for over 25 years, Paul is the man to speak to about any logistical challenges – from fast-turnaround airfreight shipments to arranging worldwide container movements from supplier to customer. Paul, who joined in 2018 has become a real asset to the company, He is a local Newport boy who knows the area and the people well, he’s also an ex Welsh Guard serving for more than 10 years.
Gareth Hall-Operations Director
Gareth joined the business in 2011 having had extensive experience in Pallet networks, and has full responsibility for the day to day operation and service levels. He became Operations Director in 2018. Gareth controls an experienced team of traffic administrators and warehouse staff to ensure we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Michele Goddard-Finance Director
Michele joined us in 2011 bringing with her a wealth of accounting experience within the transport industry. Michele’s role as Finance Director gives her full responsibility for the financial management of the business.
Dan Smith-Fleet Engineer
Dan joined the business in 2014 and has previously managed extensive commercial fleets. Dan has full responsibility for the running of a very busy garage operation that involves maintaining our own fleet, along with outside fleet work for a number of blue chip Transport operations.
Gareth Tapp-Palletline Manager
Gareth joined the business in 2006 as a driver and has developed his skills and knowledge of the Palletline System over many years. Having spent a number of years workings as a traffic administrator he was promoted to Palletline Manager in 2017 and has overall responsibility for the Palletline operation. Gareth also looks after all our IT functions.
Simon Britton-General Manager
Simon joined us as General Manager in June 2021, with 20 years of management experience under his belt across different industry sectors. Simon has a varied role which includes overseeing staff, legal requirements and company policies, health and safety procedures, security, sales and contracts.
